The Simplicity of Biblical Physics

Occam said that entities are not to be multiplied unnecessarily. Newton said that nature is pleased with simplicity and affects not the pomp of superfluous causes. Einstein thought that in every important advance, the fundamental laws are simplified. The principle of simplicity is that the simplest theory that explains the most - is best.

Simplicity is where biblical physics really shines. Biblical physics explains the whole universe with the simple statement that everything is phthora - fundamentally changing. Although we cannot see every atom or every orbit, we see billions of galaxies at many ranges all the way back to near the beginning of the universe. When we compare billions of primordial galaxies with local ones, we follow how they grew as the visible properties of matter continually change. Not a single distant galaxy gleams with the light of perpetual motion atoms. Notice how simple and universal biblical physics is. It explains the whole universe without using mathematics or complex measurements. A child can confirm biblical physics with sight, because everywhere we see overwhelming visible evidence that all matter is always changing itself.

Scientists often give lip service to Occam and simplicity. Yet science is so complex that only a few can understand its complex laws. Indeed, in science, the complexity is so great that disciples of science spend decades studying subjects so dense with mathematics that only a few of their peers can even decode their papers. Only the highest trained scientists can detect the evidence with instruments so complex and mathematics so difficult that no one else can see it.

Take invisible matter as an example. Scientists write papers black with formulas allegedly proving the existence of invisible matter around every galaxy. Not a ray of light has ever been detected from this phantom stuff. Why do they speculate on invisible, magical stuff unlike any matter anyone has ever seen? It must exist because no galaxy in the whole universe is following their complex laws of physics. Their laws of physics were contrived with Aristotle’s assumption that the properties of matter are not emergent. Biblical cosmic history is confirmed with sight. We see with sight that galactic orbits accelerate continually outward as the visible properties of matter are always changing.

Another example. Scientists build complex atomic clocks and complex laws that they support with complex formulas. Atomic clocks in the distant universe are visibly clocking minuscule frequencies compared to local atoms. No perpetual motion atoms are visible in billions of distant galaxies. So they multiply complexities. They speculate that the vacuum of space stretched the light. They claim the vacuum moves galaxies. They even claim that a tiny bit of vacuum exploded and created everything out of nothing. Thousands of complex papers allege that they have decoded the microsecond sequence of how this vacuum exploded.

How simple biblical physics is. We can see with our eyes that all matter changes relationally with age. With one simple explanation, biblical physics removes the necessity for thousands of theories and tens of thousands of formulas and all the laws of scientific physics. Biblical physics explains the whole universe with one simple non mathematical statement. Biblical physics uses visible evidence, not symbolic evidence. How completely the Bible vanquishes science as it predicts.

Obviously they need an assumption about time and methods of determining it to estimate the universe’s age. Scientist measure time with clocks. Modern scientists define a second as precisely 9,192,631,770 microwave pulses from cesium 133 atoms. Then they compare the duration of local orbits with their clocks to show that our years are clock-like. We cannot know that a count of 9,192,631,770 pulses continues to have the same duration because all orbits and clocks could be changing relationally. Scientist just assume that the properties of all matter are not emergent; that matter does not change itself as it ages. This assumption came from Aristotle who insisted that we cannot invent science without it.

Atoms in distant galaxies visibly gleam with minuscule frequencies, which certainly does not fit invariant seconds or perpetual motion atoms. So scientist claim that light is stretched as it travels through the vacuum of space. How could distant light that started out at say 7x pulses per second, arrive at the earth at only x pulses per second? Scientists claim space, the vacuum, is stretching. No one ever detected any expanding voids: a state of non existence. When scientists “time” the speed of the stars in spiral galaxies, they find that no galactic orbits are clock-like. So they claim that every galaxy is surrounded by enormous amounts of invisible matter that accelerates the outer stars to preserve their ideas about clock-like orbits. Since scientists never question their assumption that atoms are perpetual motion machines, they fill the universe with magical processes and invisible matter to force all clocks, atomic and orbital to fit their creed, that the properties of matter are not emergent. They even define time and matter with this creed; they operationally define units for measuring; mathematical formulas; constants; the scientific method and their laws with this assumption. It is with their assumption that the properties of all matter are not emergent that scientists measure billions of years.

It is in the history of how spiral galaxies formed that we SEE the simple evidence for a biblical version of time. We see that the properties of matter are always changing as countless stars spiral out, spreading out, taking up more volume as billions of galaxies grow into huge growth spirals. Visibly, the universe is very ancient yet few orbits have passed because all clocks, atomic and orbital, continually accelerate. The Bible repeatedly uses words for long time for the first generations. It even states plainly that father’s “days and years” are shorter and worse than children’s “days and years.” Indeed we find that the skulls of our ancestors had thick brows as though they lived for geological ages. Over the centuries, astronomers kept on measuring a continually expanding solar system with angles, the only form of modern measurement that does not circularly depend on the creed of science. The Bible even predicted this idea as “all things diamenei” all things remain the same in being. It is important when analyzing a billions-of-years story, to examine the basic assumption upon which it depends. Always separate the assumption from the stories contrived with that assumption because assumptions are the most critical part thinking. Scientific billions of years are denied because countless atoms and orbits in the universe visibly keep on accelerating. Biblical physics is confirmed optically. We see the simple evidence that orbits accelerate outward. God continually calls the stars to come out according to Isaiah. Test your basic assumption.

Those who wrote the Bible were not scientists

It is important, when interpreting any ancient document, to use the culture and language of the writer. No Bible writer could even imagine a scientific world-view. Although by the new Testament era, the pagan philosophers had tried to invent science, they could not agree on an assumption as the foundation for a natural science. The problem they struggled with was the issue of matter changing itself. All ancient people believed that everything corrupts, even matter. In such a universe, what “is” becomes “what is not” because all matter everywhere is always corrupting itself. The ancients believed their ancestors lived in the great time, for vast eons. They believed the planets used to rush pass at close range and cause mayhem. No ancient society had a scientific earth history. Even the Bible clearly sides with this ancient way of thinking. One of the pagans admitted that we cannot invent science unless we assume that the properties of matter are not emergent. Fifteen hundred years later, the Catholic scholastics embraced the pagan Aristotle’s dictum. Over the centuries, science was founded on Aristotle’s idea that matter is not changing itself.

Christians have tried for centuries to adjust the Bible to fit science. The more they struggle with the Bible, the more they get into trouble with the world of nature. For example, no Christian today has a simple, comprehensive explanation for the literal six thousand years of biblical history. Why? Because neither the universe nor the Bible are scientific.

Science is a hierarchical system. The entire structure of scientific reasoning was constructed on a single assumption: Aristotle’s idea that matter does not intrinsically change itself. The Bible predicted the scientific system. It predicts that in the last days mockers will come saying all things remain the same in being. Peter says the mockers follow their lusts and ask, where is the promise of his coming. In the history of the world, modern science is the greatest opposition to the knowledge of God. Hundreds of millions of people reject the Bible because of science. Almost every scientific argument starts with a single carefully protected creed: the idea that matter is not changing itself. Even the scientific way of measuring, their operation definitions of matter and time, their methods, their formulas, the entire structure was historically constructed on this carefully protected assumption. Yet we can see with eyeballs that all matter always changes relationally.

How simple biblical physics is. We can see with sight that every atom in the universe changes as it ages. We can even see on the surface of our planet the great stretch marks that show that ancient atoms were minuscule. If ancient atoms were minuscule scale models of modern atoms, then they should glow at very long wavelengths. Indeed, no perpetual motion atoms are seen in any of the hundreds of billions of distant galaxies. We even see creation, as explained in the Bible, with eyesight because we see how the galaxies formed.

What should Christians do? Repent of adjusting the unchanging words of the Bible to fit science. Fight with the Bible instead of science. We will bring down the great fortress of speculative reasoning raised up against the knowledge of God. God intends for us to defeat science for His great glory. Look carefully into the simplicity of biblical physics.

Why Biblical physics is offensive.

Physics are ideas about time and matter. The ideas for biblical physics come from the Bible instead of science. For hundreds of years Christians have interpreted earth history with scientific physics. All such attempts contain significant discrepancies, such as the age of the universe.

It is extremely difficult for modern people to think about time apart from the Western way. Yet Western time ideas are recent and different from those in every ancient society. Western science was historically founded on Aristotle’s elementary idea. He wrote that in order to invent science we must assume that the attributes of matter are unchanging. He commanded his disciples to build all knowledge on changelessness even though none is visible. Aristotle’s idea did not change the world immediately. It was not until the medieval age that the Catholic scholastics embraced Aristotle’s rudimentary assumption. Over the centuries the assumption that matter is intrinsically unchanging became the basis for new scientific ways of measuring, new mathematics, new methods and especially new scientific earth-histories.

Biblical physics is based on an opposite principle. According to the words of the Bible, everything in creation is phthora, fundamentally changing. Biblical physics does not rely on symbolical ways of measuring or mathematicating. Yet it is supported by the most powerful evidence because we see the past with sight. No perpetual motion atoms gleam from billions of primordial galaxies. Biblical physics, because of its simplicity and its overwhelming visible support, will triumph over scientific physics and its mathematical symbols.

How will this victory come about? The great and the wise will not suddenly proclaim that their fundamental paradigm is false. They will continue to explain the universe using invisible evidence contrived to protect their creed. The creed of science is the presupposition that the properties of matter are not continually emerging. But the visible evidence combined with the words of the Bible, will stir the courage of God’s people. After all, we can see the overwhelming evidence for biblical time statements in billions of spiral galaxies. We even see creation, as described in Hebrew words, as it happened long ago because we see how the galaxies formed.

This year the Hubble is scheduled to get new inertial wheels, a new camera and improved spectral equipment. It should be able to see farther into the past than ever before. This year the Herschel is scheduled for launch. It should be able to record the creation of galaxies whose atoms gleamed in far infrared and sub millimeter wavelengths. In a few years, the James Webb, may be able to image the bow shocks and the star trails behind the emerging and expanding globs of stars. In billions of galaxies we see how tiny globs packed with primordial stars came out, spread out, moved out, continually accelerated out to form the diffuse growth structures we see in local galaxies. What is visible violates every law and principle of science. Biblical physics is offensive because it is a civilization shaking idea. Scientists are offended because they cannot imagine that their elementary assumption could be false. Yet I am amazed that ordinary Christians understand the issues. They tremble with fear because they understand that persecution will result. Some will not shrink from battle. The great scientific fortress will fall because ordinary Christians will not be afraid to use the Bible as their weapon against the speculations raised up against the knowledge of Him. According to the Bible, when our obedience is complete, we will bring down the great fortress of speculative reason raised up against the knowledge of Him.

Many Christians believe that Romans 8 authenticates the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Yet no biblical author could imagine laws of thermodynamics. Paul’s words actually contradict thermodynamics, if we interpret them in his language and culture. In order to support the Bible with science, we have two hermeneutics, grammar for salvation and science for earth-history. Despite decades of tailoring the Bible to fit science, we have failed because it does not fit.

Thermodynamic theories did not exist in biblical times because they did not have precise local ways of measuring. The laws of thermodynamics depend on the idea that atoms are perpetual motion machines, yet they deny the possibility of perpetual motion. If the second law were applied, in the long term, to the internals of atoms, scientists would have to give up their operationally defined units of measuring. An operational definition preforms some operation which supposedly defines reality. For example, they believe in fixed seconds because by definition it is a count of 9,192,631,770 cesium 133 microwave pulses. Then they use this primary unit to bootstrap up most other units. They could not precisely measure things like time, mass, energy, work or heat without faith that atoms are full of motion, but that motion is perpetually unchanging. The principle that the properties of matter are not emergent is taught implicitly in everything scientists do, their system of measuring, their methods, their laws, their theories and especially their earth histories. Yet if matter changes relationally, we could not measure the relational component nor could we model it with mathematics. We can only measure or model differential changes, things that change in relation to something that does not concurrently change. No perpetual motion atoms gleam from billions of distant galaxies.

Biblical physics does not use a carefully protected presupposition to build a great structured system. Indeed, biblical physics cannot be built into an empirical, mathematical structure. The basic principle in biblical physics is that everything in creation is phthora, fundamentally changing. We confirm biblical physics with sight because we can see the past. Every atom and every orbit change relationally as each galaxy grew. What we see fits the words of the Hebrew Bible. God continually calls the stars to come out, to spread out in unbroken continuity, to take up more volume like a tent. Yet it contradicts every scientific law and even their way of measuring. To protect their perpetual motion atoms, scientists claim the vacuum spreads the light and accelerates galaxies to close to the speed of light. They even claim the vacuum replenishes itself with energy from the vacuum. They even claim that a tiny bit of vacuum exploded and created the whole universe out of nothing. They even fill the universe up with phantom, invisible matter. Yet we can see Biblical creation as it occurred, as described in the Hebrew Bible, with sight. The Bible even predicted that mockers will come saying “all things diameni, remain the same in being.” The mockers will use this idea to obfuscate (lanthano) the heavenly ekpalai - that the starry heavens came out long ago.
